A  dvanced Clutch Technology (ACT) has also just released its new high performance clutch kit and parts for the 2002-05 Mini Cooper S. The new kit has a Heavy Duty Pressure Plate with hardened diaphragm fingers which provides 35 per cent increase in clamp force over the stock unit and reduced wear. ACT's new range includes both Street and Race Clutch Kits with the latter designed for high power engines and track use. The metallic Ceramic Xtreme Discs in the Race Clutch Kits are available in four and six puck sprung and un-sprung hub designs.

Jetex Exhaust Systems |
 Jetex silencers have been designed to improve sound reduction by absorbing through a central perforated tube. This results in less gas flow restriction, lowering back pressure while increasing torque and enhancing engine performance.
Jetex bends are often mandrel bent rather than cut and welded. By using mandrel bends gas is able to exit quickly reducing back pressure and enhancing the performance of the engine. When possible Jetex exhausts are made from a minimum of a 2 inch bore size and in a number of cases from 2.5 inch pipe work. Jetex exhausts aim to maximise torque by using a larger bore size with the CAT still in place to comply with current MOT laws. On some of Jetex's high performance systems 2.75 inch or 3 inch pipe work is used. Most Jetex tailpipes are made from stainless steel with rolled in ends. In some instances damping inserts are used to give the exhaust a more sporty sound.

Wössner Pistons |

 New Mini Cooper S (Turbo) 2007 Model - Sports Exhaust
QuickSilver's new sports exhausts are designed specifically for the Cooper S R56 and should help to boost the impressive 175bhp power figure to 210bhp, based on results when dyno testing.  Super Pulleys
Claiming to be the first company to design a two-piece supercharger pulley for the New Mini, Alta Performance has upped the stakes again by designing this new and improved Supercharger Pulley Version 2.0. It has a 15%, 17% and 19% reduction and is said to be easy to install. The pulley is constructed of aluminium for reduced inertia and weight and features a stainless steel supercharger shaft coupler and installation site aperture. Belt grip is increased through oversized belt retainers and groove teeth and the pulley has also been designed with direct-torque technology. |
